About
What the PTO does
The PTO is a volunteer group of families and staff. We raise money and organize people so that teachers have what they need and students get experiences the school budget cannot cover on its own.
There are no dues and no application. If your child attends Gifford Park, you are part of the PTO. Show up when you can, give what you can, and tell us what you would like to see.
Meetings
The PTO meets monthly during the school year. Meeting dates and locations are announced in the newsletter and listed under Events. Everyone is welcome, kids included.
Classroom support
Supplies, books, and grants that teachers request directly.
Field trips & enrichment
We cover costs so no student is left out.
Community events
Fall festival, movie nights, and end-of-year celebrations.
Staff appreciation
Meals, treats, and thank-yous throughout the year.

Every dollar goes back to Gifford Park classrooms and students. Donations of any size make a difference, and many employers will match your gift.
- $25 buys a classroom's art supplies for a month
- $50 sends a student on a field trip
- $250 funds a teacher's classroom grant
Gifford Park PTO is a volunteer-run nonprofit. Ask us for a receipt if you need one for your records.
Online giving will appear here once it is set up.
For now, checks can be sent to the school office marked “PTO”.
